This page explains returns, withdrawal rights, and practical procedures for physical artworks and related physical goods purchased through the Moneli online store (“Store”). Separate rules apply if you bought via third-party NFT marketplaces (see “NFTs” below).

1) Right of withdrawal (EU/Poland distance sales) If you are a consumer and you purchased from our Store online (a distance contract), you generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

For goods, the 14-day period generally starts on the day you (or a person you designate) receive the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision within the 14-day period by sending an unequivocal statement (email is sufficient).

2) How to request a return Please email us and include:

  • order number,
  • buyer name,
  • item(s) you want to return,
  • the delivery date (if known),
  • preferred return shipping date,
  • photos (recommended) of the current condition and packaging.

We will reply with return instructions, including the return address and packaging requirements.

3) Return condition requirements for artworks To protect fragile, high-value items, returned artworks must be:

  • securely packed for transit (ideally in the original packaging),
  • returned with all included components (e.g., hanging hardware, documentation),
  • returned with the Certificate of Authenticity (“COA”) provided with the artwork.

If the COA is missing or damaged, we may delay processing and/or reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value or replacement efforts, as permitted by law.

4) Return shipping costs Unless we state otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods (packaging and shipping).

We strongly recommend:

  • tracked shipment,
  • appropriate insurance / declared value,
  • protective packaging suitable for fine art transport.

5) Refunds If you withdraw, we will reimburse payments received from you, including the standard cost of delivery (if applicable), using the same payment method you used unless you agree otherwise.

We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back (whichever occurs first), as permitted by law.

6) Exchanges Because many artworks are unique, exchanges are not always possible. If you want an exchange, contact us and we will confirm availability. Where possible, we may offer:

  • an exchange for another artwork,
  • or store credit (optional: YES), subject to the return condition requirements and legal rules.

7) Damaged or incorrect deliveries Please inspect the shipment upon delivery and inform us without undue delay if:

  • the packaging is visibly damaged,
  • the artwork is damaged,
  • you received the wrong item.

8) Exceptions (important) The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply in certain cases, including:

  • goods made to order or clearly personalised (for example, bespoke commissions, made-to-measure works, or custom framing ordered to your specifications),
  • certain digital content if supply begins with your prior express consent and acknowledgement of losing the withdrawal right (if we ever offer downloadable digital items).

If an exception applies, we will clearly inform you before purchase.

9) NFTs (sold via third-party marketplaces) Moneli does not process NFT sales on the Website. If you purchase an NFT via a third-party marketplace (e.g., OpenSea, Foundation, Crypto.com NFT Marketplace), any refunds, cancellation, or dispute procedures are governed by that marketplace’s terms and the blockchain network’s rules. Moneli cannot reverse blockchain transactions, and network fees (“gas”) and third-party fees may be non-refundable.
